FC is Rehearsal Site for World Children’s Choir
The World Children’s Choir, an organization dedicated to celebrating cultural diversity through music and promoting positive international relations, holds its weekly rehearsals on Tuesdays from 4:30 – 9:45 pm (four ensembles for students ages 4 – 18), at Christ Crossman United Methodist Church, 384 N. Washington Street.
The group, celebrating its 20th year, will hold two concerts at the church next year, the annual Spring Concert on Saturday, May 15, 2010, and a special concert for the UN International Day of Peace on Sunday, September 19, 2010.
The choir’s December Holiday Concert, March Anniversary Concert, and June West African Drumming Concert will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Arlington. A series of Open Houses occur throughout the year.
