BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE: Big Chimneys Park was the site for attack training for this American Pit Bull, although when our photographer showed up, the trainer headed for cover. Below is the aftermath.

Nice looking American Pit Bull Terrier and good action shot — did you happen to ask the guy why the dog was without a leash or if his dog had his up to date, City issued, dog tag?

The City Arborist will NOT be happy!

This is awful. I wish you had called the police on this guy. A front on picture would have also been helpful. The nerve of some people to destroy one of our parks!

I feel sorrier for the dog. What’s the purpose of attack training?

Although I did not have my camera, I did see the “action” in the park.

As someone who lives adjacent to the park, I do not appreciate that some dog owners feel free to let their dogs off the legally required leashes. To dog owners, this might sound like whining, but I shouldn’t have to think twice about doing yardwork.
