Dulles Rail Project Impacts Roads Again This Week
Work on the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project continues to affect traffic in the Falls Church area this week.
The left through lane of westbound I-66 will close between Haycock Road and the Dulles Connector Road (Route 267) split during the week beginning Nov. 30 at selected daytime hours. This lane will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Thursday, Dec. 3, and from 9:30 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 4. The closings are needed to deliver equipment and begin excavation in this work area for the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project.
The right through lane of the eastbound Dulles Connector Road (Route 267) flyover to eastbound I-66 will close for barrier placement between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2. The left lane will remain open to through traffic.
