VIDEO: Scenes From the Snowy Little City

February 6, 2010

The second major storm of the 2009-2010 winter season changed life in Falls Church CIty, albeit temporarily. People spent their weekend shoveling snow, left their cars at home, and instead took to major routes on foot or ski. Click the video box to watch.

    Nicely done! What’s the music?

Thanks, Brian. The music is called Acoustic Sunrise. It’s included in the music library of Apple’s iMovie program, which I use to create the videos.

Great “Little” video. I love it. I sent it to family all over the country and Iraq. They’ll get a taste of this historic snowstorm. Our second for the season! They’ll also love the music you added. My brother in Texas is so jealous he can’t be here. Your video will help him feel like he’s here in town.

Wow, thanks, Eric! That’s great to hear. And a special thanks for your family’s service in Iraq.

    Thanks for doing that, Hannah!

Stephen, great scenes. Hey, not to be a nitpick on the graphics, but please note that the official street names are Park AVENUE and Maple AVENUE. Vienna has a Park Street, so we wouldn’t want any confusion with the nearby “town”.

    John,

Thank you, and thanks for helping a newbie out. I knew Park was wrong, but I didn’t know Maple. They both are fixed now.
