Why is the affordable housing project not dead yet in view of this dire economic situation? There is such singlemindedness involved in the project that it makes me wonder what the real motives are. The parking issue has not been honestly addressed either. We need a clean sweep during the upcoming City Council elections, new blood with the real interests of Falls Church at heart.

I am very confused. I have been following the topic here and I just don’t feel like I have an accurate sense of the issue…….will it cost us money or not? I am sympathetic to the goal of affordable housing but don’t think me a curmudgeon if I’m not willing to spend money on it this budget cycle. I am trying to keep my own home as “affordable”, a difficult proposition in light of the tax rate under consideration.
