SATURDAY 3/27: Vegan Bake Sale for Hatian Relief Effort

Various cities across the U.S. and the world have held vegan bake sales to help Haitian relief efforts. Now, after two postponements due to extreme snow conditions, there will be one in Falls Church on March 27. DC Vegan is the central coordinating group, and Compassion for Animals is organizing the Falls Church bake sale.

When: 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Where: Giant supermarket, 1230 W. Broad St.

The bake sale will be near the entrance to the store.

Proceeds from the bake sale will go to Food for Life Global (FFL) — the world’s largest vegan food relief organization, which has given over 840 million meals to the hungry and needy since 1974. FFL is currently serving freshly-cooked vegan meals to Haitians. FFL is a highly efficient organization, and every dollar donated goes to good use.
