Gina---great article! For all of you who call the City of Falls Church home, this is a "must see" about our city's history and the people who lived that history. It is also a showcase for what the arts space at Pearson Square will become in the future. Add to this the opening of Pizzeria Orso and we've got some action on S. Maple! The play is very moving and brings to life names that we have heard---Joseph Tinner, Ollie Tinner (yes, both of Tinner Hil), Frederick Foote, E.B. Henderson, Mary Ellen Henderson, James Lee Center and much more. This is all done by professional actors except for two wonderful roles by local young people--Merone Gabra a first grader from Sleepy Hollow Elementary and Raheem Lawal an 11 year old from our very own Mary Ellen Henderson Middle
School. With Raheem playing a 6th grader in Miss Nellie's two room James Lee school and being a 6th grader at MEHMS, the circle of history seems complete.

Not to be left out, this is all part of The Tinner Hill Blues Festival--A Tribute to John Jackson, June 10-13.Go on line at www.tinnerhill.org for all the great blues music coming to our Little City---bigger and better than ever!
