Photoshop Workshop to Benefit Falls Church Arts

Falls Church Arts (FCA) is sponsoring an Introduction to Photoshop workshop where participants will learn input to output. The two-part seminar will be lead by commercial photographer and City resident, Art Pierson.

The workshop includes two 2-1/2 -hour sessions, with the opportunity to ask questions about individual situations or projects. The seminar covers the basics of image processing software and is appropriate for beginners and anyone who wishes to learn more. Attendees will learn color systems, profiles, sizing, nondestructive edits, tools and more.

Two different sessions are being offered: attend Part 1 on Thursday, Jan. 20 at 7 pm or Saturday, January 22 at 1 pm and attend Part 2 either Thursday, February 3 at 7 pm or Saturday, February 5 at 1 pm.

The fee for the two-part workshop is $40 for Falls Church Arts members and students and $60 for nonmembers. All of the proceeds from the workshops will be donated to support Falls Church Arts. This is very generous of Art Pierson to devote his professional time to instruct photographers on how to maximize their use of PhotoShop and make life look
just a bit more organized and beautiful. I will be attending.
