Friday, August 3: FIRSTfriday
Congress may be in recess, but FIRSTfriday of Falls Church is in full swing in August. On August 3, you can see art exhibits showcasing the works of Marina DiCarlo at Art and Frame of Falls Church and Jackie Liedl and Kathie Rogers at Stifel and Capra. The “6 Days of Summer” continues outdoors at Art-A-Lot in the parking lot of 111 Park Avenue, featuring classic cars at the Cruise-In, live music by Big Tow, a Doggie Yappy Hour hosted by Always There Pet Care, and various displays by painters, jewelers, and local businesses including dog trainers Unleashed Abilities. Later in the evening, there will be indoor musical performances at Ireland’s Four Provinces, Dogwood Tavern, and Clare and Don’s Beach Shack. FIRSTfriday events are held at various locations in Falls Church City, some offering free ice cream, wine tastings, yoga, dance moves, and more.
