FCCPS Superintendent to Co-Chair VSBA Virtual Learning Task Force

Falls Church Superintendent Toni Jones has been appointed to the Virginia School Board Association (VSBA) Task Force on Virtual Learning.  Dr. Jones will co-chair the panel along with Richmond City school board member, Kim Bridges. The “Virtual Learning Task Force” is charged with the ambitious goal of developing an interim written report by October 4 for the VSBA Board of Directors. As a starting point, the Task Force will review best practices in other states and schools, as well as relevant Virginia laws and regulations applicable to virtual learning.  The group will then recommend new state and local policy frameworks, and submit an interim report with recommendations for next steps and future areas of work.
