Crime Report for July 31 – August 13

Public Drunkenness, 300 block S. Washington St.  On July 31 a 44 year old Annandale man was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness, 6700 block Wilson Blvd.  On Aug. 1 a 37 year old Manassas man was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness, 300 block Shirley St.  On Aug. 2 a 48 year old City of Falls Church woman was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness, 132 W. Broad St. (Dogwood Tavern).  On Aug. 2 a 32 year old Arlington woman was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Larceny from Building, 932 W. Broad St. (Family Dentistry).  On Aug. 3 an  unknown suspect fraudulently posed as a contractor for the landlord and stole  cash from an unattended wallet.  The suspect was described as a Black male in his  50′s, approximately 5’7″ tall, weighing 150 pounds.  The suspect was seen wearing  a uniform-like blue striped shirt, blue pants, blue ball cap with black and grey  hair.  The subject had his mouth covered with a blue medical mask.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 500 W. Broad St. (Papa John’s Pizza).  On Aug. 3 a  vehicle was found in the parking lot with a slashed tire and a rip in the  driver’s seat.

Narcotics Violations, 300 W. Broad St. (The Stratford Motor Lodge).  On Aug. 4 a 29 year old Alexandria man was arrested and released on summons for Possession  of Marijuana.  A 25 year old Staten Island, NY man was arrested for Possession of  Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Percocet and  Oxycodone).  A 21 year old Washington, DC man was arrested for Unlawful Possession  of a Controlled Substance (Percocet).  A 21 year old Fairfax man was arrested for  Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Percocet).

Public Drunkenness, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center).  On Aug. 4 a 23 year old Falls Church man was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center).  On Aug. 4, a 37 year old man of no fixed address was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Driving Under the Influence, 600 block S. Washington St.  On Aug. 5 an  officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation.  The driver, a 50 year old City of Falls Church man, was arrested for Driving Under the  Influence.

Public Drunkenness, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center).  On Aug. 5 a 39 year old Alexandria man was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 400 block E. Jefferson St.  On Aug. 5 an unknown suspect(s) egged a parked vehicle and threw dog food on the vehicle.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 900 block Park Ave.  On Aug. 5 an unknown suspect(s)  damaged a side view mirror of a parked vehicle.

Larceny from Building, 6769 Wilson Blvd.  On Aug. 6 the victim reported an  unknown suspect stole an unattended iPhone sometime on Aug. 5.

Liquor Law Violation, 200 block Noland St.  On Aug. 6 a 16 year old Arlington juvenile  male was arrested and released on summons for Underage Possession  of Alcohol.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 600 block Hillwood Ave.  On Aug. 7 an officer conducted a traffic stop for a  motor vehicle violation.  The driver, a 30 year old Falls Church man, was arrested  for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath  Test.

Larceny from Building 200 block E. Fairfax St.  On Aug. 7 an unknown  suspect(s) stole a delivery package from the hallway of an apartment  complex.

Public Drunkenness, 1200 block W. Broad St.  On Aug. 9 a 29 year old Gaithersburg, MD man was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Residential Burglary, 400 block W. Rosemary Ln.  On Aug. 10 a victim reported  an unknown suspect(s) gained entry to an unoccupied residence and stole jewelry  and a computer.

Liquor Law Violation and Possession of a False ID, 1200 W. Broad St. (Citgo  Gas).  On Aug. 10 a 17 year old McLean man was arrested and released on  summons for Underage Possession of Alcohol and Possession of a False ID.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 200 block Midvale St.  On Aug. 11 a parked vehicle was found vandalized with spray paint.

Public Drunkenness and Drinking in Public, 100 block S. Washington St.  On Aug. 11 a 45 year old man of no fixed address was arrested for Public Drunkenness and  Drinking in Public.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 100 block S. Washington St.  On Aug. 12 an officer conducted a traffic stop for  a motor vehicle violation.  The driver, a 23 year old Falls Church man, was arrested  for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath  Test.

Public Drunkenness, 100 block S. Washington St.  On Aug. 12 a 24 year old Falls Church man was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Stalking, Obstruction of Justice, and Public Drunkenness, 6763 Wilson Blvd.  #R3 (V3 Club).  On Aug. 12 a 23 year old man of no fixed address was arrested for Public  Drunkenness.  Officers later learned the suspect was searching for a Falls Church police officer and threatening to kill the officer.  Warrants were also served on  the suspect for Stalking and Obstruction of Justice.

Stalking, 1000 block W. Broad St. On Aug. 12 a 26 year old Columbia, MD man was arrested for Stalking.
