Crime Report for September 11 – 17

This report is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation.

Larceny from Building and Motor Vehicle, 200 block N. Virginia Ave.   On Sept. 12 police received a report that an unknown suspect(s) stole a bicycle from an open garage and petty cash from an unlocked vehicle in the garage sometime between Sept. 6 and 7.

Narcotics Violation, 303 Douglas Ave. (Smitty’s Barbershop).  On Sept. 13 a 49 year old Springfield man was served an outstanding warrant from Fairfax County and was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

Drinking In Public, 100 block S. Washington St.  On Sept. 14 a 45 year old man of no fixed address was arrested and released on summons for Drinking In Public.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block E. Broad St.  On Sept. 14 an unknown suspect(s) smashed a car window and stole a bag with personal items and a computer laptop. Several items were recovered but the computer is still missing.

Underage Possession of Alcohol and Urinating In Public, 306 Hillwood Ave.  On Sept. 15 a 20 year old Falls Church man was arrested and released on summons for Urinating In Public and Underage Possession of Alcohol.

Destruction of Property, 1000 block Railroad Ave.  On Sept. 15 screws to a garage door were found broken away from the hinges.

Domestic Assault, 900 block Ellison St.   On Sept. 16 a 34 year old City of Falls Church woman was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.

Assault, Obstruction of Justice, and Destruction of Property, 110 N. West St. (7-Eleven).   On Sept. 16 a 21 year old City of Falls Church man was arrested for Assault, Obstruction of Justice, and Destruction of Property.
