Falls Church Arts is proud to be able to bring the talents of gifted artists to ArtSpace Falls Church for its ArtWORKS series. This series features artists who make their living full-time producing their art. The unique and personal insights of those who have pursued a life in art are an inspiration to our local middle and high school students who come to ArtSpace on field trips to see the work and hear the challenges and stories of luck and happenstance that shaped the featured artist’s professional life.
The next featured artist in the ArtWORKS series is Karen Kasmauski, a renowned photo-journalist whose work is seen all over the world. Karen’s work will be shown at Falls Church Arts Gallery at ArtSpace beginning October 1st through October 14 with her “Meet the Artist” reception and ArtWORKS presentation on October 11th. “Meet the Artist” reception begins at 7 p.m. with Karen Kasmauski’s program beginning approximately at 7:30 p.m. that Thursday evening. Refreshments will be served and the entire evening is free and open to the public. For more information e.mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call Falls Church Art at 703-679-7881.
