Who in the world would report an 84 year old woman for shoplifting? Shame on you Giant! Could this not have been handled more genteelly?

Last time I checked, our country is built on a system of laws that apply to everyone, regardless age, race, etc. Kudos to whomever reported this to the police. Shoplifting costs the retail industry billions of dollars of years–which is passed right on to consumers.
