500 Respond to School Survey; Questionaire Closes July 27

city-schools-logoOver 500 respondents have participated in a survey regarding the manner and effectiveness of Falls Church City Public School communications to parents and guardians, according to Karen Acar, Communications Director, Falls Church City Public Schools.  The survey is designed to assist school officials in making informed decisions about communications methodologies in the future.

The survey remains open until noon Monday, July 27th.

Survey results will be posted on the school division Web site by August 1st, according to Acar.

    It is not just about the rate of medical inflation in terms of rate increases, but the underlying utilization compared to that which was estimated. Insurance companies are required, by law, to maintain certain reserves. When people start using more healthcare (which started happening in late 2008), insurance companies had to raise rates to be compliant with the laws. Now the lawmakers are crying foul.
