Felony Concealment of Merchandise and Drunk in Public, 134 W Broad St, (CVS), September 15, 7:43 PM. A 33 year old Fairfax man was arrested for felony concealment of merchandise and for being drunk in public.
Driving under the Influence, 1100 blk W Broad St, September 16, 2:45 AM. A 29 year old Fairfax woman was arrested for driving under the influence.
Larceny – Shoplifting, 1150 W Broad St. (CVS), September 16, 6:19 PM. A 51 year old City of Falls Church woman was arrested for petit larceny.

Voter Registration Deadline Monday, Oct. 5

The deadline to register to vote in this November’s elections is rapidly approaching, the League of Women Voters of Falls Church reminds prospective voters. The deadline is Monday, October 5.
Prospective voters may register by mail or in-person at any Virginia Registar’s Office and at certain Virginia government agencies, including the Department of Motor Vehicles. In the City of Falls Church, the Registrar’s office is located at City Hall, 300 Park Avenue, Suite 101. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Applications can also be obtained by phone (703-248-5085), at the Mary Riley Styles Library, or downloaded from the State Board of Elections Website at http://www.sbe.virginia.gov/cms/Forms_Publications/Index.html.
Voter registration applications must be delivered in person by October 5, or postmarked by that date, if mailed.
“We hope that the many new residents of Falls Church will take the time to register in the city,” said Ellen Salsbury, president of the League of Women Voters of Falls Church. “This fall’s election is a very important one as, the citizens of Virginia will elect their next governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, members of the House of Delegates and local constitutional officers. We hope that everyone who is eligible to vote will take the necessary steps to exercise this important right.”
