Recycling Cart New Trash Cans Coming Soon

The trash cans are coming! The City’s new rolling trash cans are expected to be delivered in early October. City residents will be notified with an informative door hanger before the cans arrive. Rolling carts have many advantages: they allow more space for recycling, keep contents dry, reduce litter and vermin; and for most customers, carts are easy to roll to the curb. For more information about the new service call the Solid Waste Hot Line 703-248-5160.

Pay Bills Online

City residents have a new, easy and convenient way to view and pay personal property invoices online; just visit the City web site at www.fallschurchva.gov . Phase I of online bill pay is for personal property tax bills. In the future, citizens will be able to access and pay real estate tax bills, water bills, parking tickets, and dog licenses.

GEORGE Ends Sept. 24

Due to budget cuts, the City’s GEORGE bus service will end on Friday, Sept. 24.
