George Mason High School senior Violet Miller has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division 1 soccer at the University of Richmond.
Miller, a three-year starter for Mason Coach Jennifer Parsons, helped propel the Mustangs to three consecutive VHSL Group A state championships. She has tallied 76 goals in her high-school career while garnering first-team All District, All Region, and All State honors in each of her three seasons. In 2010 Miller was the Bull Run District, Region B and Group A State Player of the Year.
In addition to her play for George Mason and the Washington Freedom U20 team in the summer of 2010, Miller has had a stellar career for Coach Jac Cicala and the McLean MPS Azul, helping that team win Virginia State Cup Championships in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011.
Miller also is the Senior Class President at George Mason High School, a member of the National Honor Society, and volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House in Fairfax, Virginia, and Sunrise Assisted Living facility in Falls Church.

Group A high schools rarely graduate Division I student-athletes. Congratulations Violet! A truly outstanding achievement. Canada/Zimbabwe in 2015?
